As most of you know, Will and I are moving to Angola, Indiana. Yes, like the African country, but actually nothing like it. Indiana if full of shady trees, small to medium-sized lakes, and golf courses, all of which we hope to enjoy...until Winter. Then, we will have barren trees, small to medium-sized ice rinks, and tons of wide open space to snow shoe. Still, no desert, that we know of.
Will has accepted a job as an Associate Professor at Trine University and I will continue to work for SMG in our new Indiana office, a.k.a. our house. I wanted to keep in touch with all of our friends back in KC and around the US, so I've started this blog, which I will update with interesting stories from NE Indiana. The blog is titled Two Cats, One Will for two reasons. First, since my nickname is Cat and Will owns a cat, there are now two cats and one Will living in Angola. Second, as many of you know, I'm not a cat-lover, so it's going to take some will power (for me and Melody the cat) to spend all day with each other. I swear the second reason was by accident, well, maybe a bit of a subconscious decision.
Our upcoming schedule is pretty hectic, so I will write back when things settle. Up next...the move, a friend's wedding, house guests, working remotely, NASCAR, and a trip back to KC. Yes, that's all in the next two weeks! See you then.
